Rezumat: By January 2015, France had experienced several terrorist attacks. At each time, the French government asked all the institutions and especially the teaching institutes to observe a minute of silence. It was the case at the university of Cergy-Pontoise, located near Paris where the study takes place. The aim of that research is to focus on the youth’s sense of belonging to one society, especially the students belonging to the licence degree. Secondly it could be a way to discover which representations are hidden behind their speech, in that case as a proof or not of their political involvement or at least of their civil-minded sense. The data were collected first around two months after the “Charlie hehbo” attack and a second time two years after that event, in order to analyze the evolution of their representations. Our purpose is also to explore the evolution between comments made in the heat of the moment and when the subjects have some time to think more deeply about it.
